Portable Modular Building A Porta-King portable modular building can be moved from location to location by use of a forklift. Simply disconnect the electrical connection and your ready to relocate. This customer needed to provide a quite, clean working environment to perform quality control procedures in their manufacturing operation but they also needed to be able to move this portable modular building to different points along an assembly line.  This fully assembled portable modular building was the ideal solution to their requirement. This modular building included a pre-wired electrical system. The 3" thick walls provided excellent thermal insulation and sound control. The ceiling was also constructed using modular panels.	These prefabricated panels also enhanced the sound and thermal control of the structure. In addition, these panels will maximize the interior clearance for the finished ceiling because they are installed on top of the wall panels.  Unlike other manufacturers of prefabricated buildings, Porta-King does not charge extra for custom layouts. Each building is custom made to meet each unique application requirements. This portable modular building included a corkboard panel along the back wall. The customer wanted to use this corkboard panel for pinning Q.C. data, memo’s and other miscellaneous documents. The exterior surface of the modular panels was painted steel. Porta-King laminates this painted steel surface to 1/8” hardboard before laminating it to an ESP core. The additional lamination process dramatically improves the puncture resistance of the steel panel surface.  Other features included anti-fatigue matting on the floor to improve the comfort of the personnel occupying the portable modular building. The frame for the floor structure included pockets to allow easy access for lifting the building by a forklift.
Modular Portable Building This is a 9’ x 16’ modular portable building. This portable building is being used to create an office on the plant floor of this manufacturing facility. Portable Shipping & Receiving Building This fully assembled modular building is used for a portable shipping and receiving building in this warehouse. The prefabricated design allowed the shipping clerk to move in right away. The 3 inch insulated modular walls reduce the noise from fork-truck traffic inside this portable shipping and receiving building. The prefinished drywall used to create the partition walls creates a class 1 fire rated wall system.	Porta-King offers seven different prefinished drywall colors to choose from. This modular system not only shelters personnel, but it also shelters computers and other electronic equipment from the dirty outside environment. The vertical connecting post used to assemble these modular panels also serve as raceways for concealment of electrical, data and communication wiring.
